Norwalk CT Police Department Usage Review of Cerma CSL Firemarm:
I must admit that I tend to view products with skepticism however the proof was in the data.  I saw a legitimate 200 fps gain in a 16” AR-15 that would be the equivalent of having a 20” barrel, as well as a legitimate 150 fps boost in a 40 cal Sig P-229R. Now when cleaning time came around, both guns pretty much wiped clean with minimal fuss.  I am looking forward to continued use of Cerma and can see that it also has potential for USPSA shooters who have to meet a minimum power floor providing extra velocity without pressure increase.

Instructions - Cerma CSL Firearm Foam:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
Cerma Technology works by utilizing three parts:
Carbon (dirt), Water, and Heat.  For best performance, follow the instructions so that all three elements are properly utilized and the Cerma process completes itself.

Part 1 - Carbon / Dirt:  Do not Pre-Clean firearm prior to application of Cerma, for AT LEAST 48 hours prior.
Do NOT use any other cleaner while you are using Cerma CSL
as your firearm cleaning protocol.

Part 2 - First Time Cleaning
1) SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
2) Insert Straw into Spray Tip of Aerosol Can
3) Point Straw into Barrel of Firearm and Spray
4) When Foam Starts to Come Out of Action Area, STOP Spraying
5) Let Cerma Sit for 20 Minutes without Wiping or Cleaning
7) After 20 Minutes, Swab out the Foam with Clean Dry Swab
8) Using Another Swab Saturated with Room Temp Water,
Swab Barrel Again - this is the “Water” Element
9) As soon as Possible, Take Firearm Out and Fire Until
Barrel is Warm to Hot - this is the “Heat” Element
Note:  DO NOT Use Any Other Cleaner while using Cerma CSL.

Part 3 - Follow Up Cleanings
1) Repeat Steps 1 to 4 Above
2) Let Cerma Sit for 5 Minutes without Wiping or Cleaning
3) After 5 Minutes, Swab out the Foam with Clean Dry Swab
NO need to Swab again with Wet Swab,
NO need to take the Firearm out and Immediately Fire.
Note:  DO NOT Use Any Other Cleaner while using Cerma CSL.

Instructions - Cerma CSL Firearm Grease:

Take off tip and inject sparingly into the firing and action area of the firearm. No need to wipe off unless you have over applied.
